Kochi: Transgender Sajana Shaji has been hospitalised after an attempt to commit suicide. She is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ernakulam.
Sajana sold biriyani packets on the street and many outsiders had tried to stop her sale following which she had went Live on Facebook to share her bad experience.
She received massive support from the public and offered financial assistance to her. However, a few audio clips alleged to be recorded by Sajana were circulated widely the other day and public insulted her in their reaction.
Sajana was devastated over the fake campaign against her which is believed to be the reason for the suicide attempt.
