Kochi: The NIA court on Thursday disposed of the anticipatory bail plea filed by former principal secretary to Chief Minister M Sivasankar in connection with the gold smuggling case.
The lawyer who appeared for National Investigation Agency argued that Sivasankar was not an accused in any case and therefore the anticipatory bail plea need not be considered.
Taking note of this, the court disposed of the plea.
