Kottayam: The Nair Service Society (NSS) on Monday appealed to the government to implement forward caste reservation with retrospective effect from January 2021.
NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair in the press release noted that some conditions in the forward caste reservation denies equality.
“If qualified candidates are not available for posts reserved for economically backward people, such vacancies should be filled with candidates from the same community,” demanded NSS.
The demand of the NSS comes after SNDP and Muslim League also criticised the order.
