Panthalam : 69 Ayyappas who spent their days behind the bars to protect the legacy of the Sabarimala temple were welcomed at Panthalam. Panthalam Palace Executive Committee President Sasikumara Varma and Secretary Narayana Varma arranged for the welcome of the devotees from Manikandan Aalthara to the temple.
All the 69 pilgrims have temporary ban at Ranni hence the Palace decided to keep their Irumudikett along with the Thiruvabharana of Lord Ayyappa (holy ornaments of the deity). As soon as the ban on the believers is removed they will make darshana with the irumudikett.
The pilgrims will also have chance to be a part of the Thiruvabharana ghoshayatra said, Sasikumara Varma.
