Thiruvananthapuram : The Governor expressed his dissatisfaction on the regulations at Sabarimala. In the meeting with CM Governor directed to rule out the regulations causing difficulties to the pilgrims, also to instruct the police force deployed on the same.
As Sabarimala women entry called for statewide protest CM decided to meet with the Governor Retired Justice P Sadashiva. Governor asked about lack of basic amenities at Sabarimala, the difficulties caused by interference of police to the pilgrims at Nilakkal, Pampa and Sannidhanam.
The Governor made it clear to the CM to rule out the regulations causing tension at Sabarimala, the police’s action to the pilgrims is also not appreciated.
Instances of devotees returning to their homeland without making darshana from other states, ruins the relationship among the States, hence it is advised to ensure that the police is not acting their will, against the instructions, stated the Governor.
The travel must be safe and comfortable, KSRTC must take care of it. Medical aids must be facilitated were the other instructions by the Governor to CM.
