Idukki : The PSC does not want to publish a rank list, while in the State, the LP and UP vacancies exist for about 6000 teachers. Thousands of candidates who have secured their place on the shortlist prepared by PSC in the year 2014, have been waiting for a government job.
The absence of teachers in LP and UP is a constant challenge to the Government’s efforts to improvise the standard of the education through Common education conservation yajna.
As the Government schools upgraded to Hi-Tech there has been hike in the number of students. However LP and UP section lacks about 6000 teachers and the authority has not made the appointments or published the rank list.
PSC had advertised in 2014 for LPSA and UPA, following which examination was conducted in 2017 January, interview for the shortlisted candidates were also done.
After all the procedure it has been an year now. The authority had not considered to publish the rank list. The candidates are planning on protest to PSC office.
