Kochi : After the High Court order to continue legal proceedings, Kerala Police hesitates to arrest Rehana Fatima. The mass arrest of devotees for prayer chanting happened within seconds maintaining the law however they conveniently forgot the same law when it comes to activist Rehana Fathima. The police’s double stand reveals, that even when Rehana roams around participating in various programs statewide does not gets arrested.

On 4th of October, Pathanamthitta police had filed a case against Rehana Fathima under Section 295 (A) allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Hinduism through her Facebook posts and damaging the faith of Ayyappa devotees.

Subsequently, the High Court dismissed the anticipatory bail request filed by Rehana Fathima in the case no.2405/2018. Still the police have not moved an inch further in the case. The police are taking a favorable stand to Rehana, letting her free to participate in the public events, including the one at Attapadi Agali last day.

Rehana being an employee to BSNL, is absolutely from Departmental actions, even when the codes are repeatedly violated by her. It is being abused that BSNL is against the Hindu beliefs
