Pathanamthitta : BJP State General Secretary K Surendran was granted bail in one case.
Judicial First Class Magistrate Court granted bail for the case charged by Ranni police in 2012.

Meanwhile, Surendran had another case in connection with women admission in Sabarimala. The charges are, blocking a lady from entering Sabarimala and plots to murder her, this is a cooked up case. However Court denied bail on this case.

Police trapped Surendran in the case purposefully. His name was added as the 13 accused in the case.

The Court has directed the authority to allow Surendran to talk to his relatives in the presence of the jail Superintendent, also an hour is allowed to the police to question Surendran.

Police is taking vengeance on Surendran, because he stood for the devotees. Police filed cases including those of unnatural death in the name of Surendran, as this was pointed out in the Court, the officials changed the report.

K Surendran was arrested by 7.00 pm on the 17th of this month. In the first report submitted to the Court, the police has added Case number 1198/18. Case number 1198/18 was about the unnatural death of Sasi who lived within the range of Thiruvananthapuram Cantonment police station.

Case number 705/15 which was charged against Surendran, was actually a case against an autoworker for blocking the way. This case was also registered in the same police station. Similarly case number 1284/18, 1524/17 were also registered in Cantonment police station and Surendran is not at all involved in any of them. Police withdraw the charges, as it was pointed out in the Court that, these are fake cases.

The police earlier claimed 9 cases against Surendran and now corrected it to 5 in the Court.
