Kannur : It is the 19th death anniversary of K T Jayakrishnan’s brave sacrifice. Yuvamorcha leader Jayakrishnan Master’s murder was one among the most notorious of leftist killings. CPM has also murdered the BJP activist Vinod on the same day in the year 2013.
It was in the year 1999 Jayakrishnan Master was slaughtered. Jayakrishnan Master was the most beloved among the Sanga Parivar. He was the state Vice President of Yuvamorcha. Master was chopped by the CPM activists infront of the his students of the school where he was a teacher.
Even the court described the murder of Jayakrishnan Master as very odd one. The accused in the murder of Master were set free by the Supreme Court. However when the convicts of T P Chandrashekaran was arrested they revealed the identity of Jayakrishnan Master’s murderers.
Years later CPM activists killed Vinod Kumar who was on his way back after the memory day of Jayakrishnan Master. As time pass by their sacrifice reminds, long way to go.
