Thrissur: As the poetry plagiarism leads to controversies, Deepa Nishanth and M. J. Sreechitran sought forgiveness, as a vain effort to escape from this plagiarism row.

Deepa Nishant’s recent facebook post expressed regret, as she is responsible for every single word in the poem that is being published in her name. M. J. Sreechitran also apologized for the mental and emotional abuse caused because of him.

The original author of the poetry S. Kalesh demands response from them, and not apology.

It is alleged that, the poem “Angne irikke marichu poyi njan”, originally written and published by Kalesh, has been slightly modified and titled ‘Anganeyirikke’ and appeared in the latest issue of the journal of the All Kerala Private College teachers’ Association (AKPCTA), along with a photograph of Deepa Nishant.
