Thiruvananthapuram : The team of BJP MP’s from the Central Government designated to study about concerns at Sabarimala regarding women entry, had been in Kochi last day. The committee heard complaints and opinion of the public, which included statements of those pilgrims who faced the brutality of police even at odd hours. The team also fetched details on happenings. Following which the squad moved to Chengannoor. The team had submitted petition to Governor seeking actions in Sabarimala concerns at the earliest. The plea speaks about the police brutality against pilgrims in the name of security, also the fact that the situations are much similar to those of an unannounced emergency.

The team was assigned by BJP President Amit Shah, to investigate and submit report on the distress events at Sabarimala. The squad constitutes of BJP MPs Saroj Pandey, Pralhad Joshi, Vinod Kumar Sonkar and Nalin Kumar Kateel. No basic facilities have been facilitated for the pilgrim. Sabarimala was one of the most visited temples in the pilgrimage season which has turned to a dark spot in God’s own Country, false cases against the devotees including that of K Surendran, these are the other points in the petition besides the major head requesting the Governor to take immediate action in Sabarimala issue.
