Thiruvananthapuram : Assembly dispersed successively on the 4th day on the grounds of Sabarimala women entry issue. Opposition party started the argument, demanding a discussion on Sabarimala concerns and the members in rage walked to the Speaker’s podium. Even when the protest grew strong the question hour continued. Following which opposition party members took the protest to the next level when they continued protesting in front of Speaker holding banners. The ruling party also started protest following the opposition. The ruling and the opposition challenged each other’s stand in the assembly. As the arguments pulled itself up is when the decision to disperse the Assembly was made.
Three opposition party’s MLAs started hunger strike at Assembly gate. VS Sivakumar, N.Jayaraj and Parakkal Abdulla are those with hunger srike.
