Employees’ strike ; KSRTC can take action : High Court

Kochi : Action has to be taken against 102 KSRTC workers, who took part in strike, directed High Court. HC also made a comment that, Government’s prior permission is not required to take action against the employees!

The Court instructed KSRTC to make conclusion within a month, on the petitions, which were submitted  demanding action against the workers.

The Center for Consumer Education,Pala has approached the High Court.

The move to assign the reservation counters to Kudumbasree units was the trigger behind the strike by the KSRTC workers. On the 16th of October, employees from different depot protested by taking part in the strike.

The training for the Kudumbasree units was withheld  because of the workers’ protest.
