Ranchi : Jharkhand police have arrested communist terrorist leader Jageshwar Thuri. The terrorist leader fell into the arms of police as a result of the intensive search by the Giridih police and the CRPF soldiers. Jageshwar was captured from the forest reign near the Band village. The police authorities had declared a reward of One lakh rupees for those who help them to find the terrorist.
The terrorist arrested belongs to the banned organisation, Communist Party of India (Maoist) Nunuchand Mahato’s group. Police have recovered several ammunition and explosives. For the past 14 years the authorities were engaged in pursuit to find him.
Jageshwar Thuri is the prime accused in the murder of six people within Pirthand police station range. Police have also found out that he has been involved in several terrorist activities in Giridih and Dhanbad
areas.
