Kochi : Crime branch to investigate financial fraud case against P V Anwar MLA. The HC ordered Crime Branch investigation on the petition filed by an expat industrialist Salim. High Court has rejected Anwar’s request to recheck the order.
Anwar had cheated Rs 50 lakh from Salim promising him that Salim will be made a partner in the quarry business.
The High Court ordered vigilance investigation on the case, accepting the argument of the petitioner that MLA, the accused is influential person.
