Thiruvananthapuram : Germany offered 720 crores, for the reconstruction of Kerala with low rate of interest. Central Government welcomes the plan
The officials of the German development bank KFW has announced that the fund will be offered for the disaster recovery due to climate change and the financial support is meant to prepare the required infrastructure to meet with such the disasters. The Central Government welcomed this plan.
24 crore for providing the technology to combat climate change, 40 crore to improve the quality of the soil and on top of it German Ambassador Martin Nai announced that, 24 crores will be allotted for technical assistance. Germany will also avail 940 crores for the Union Government’s Integrated Water Metro Project as a part of Kochi Smart City.
