Kochi : Flight service cancelled as the passenger pulled open the emergency door, while the aircraft was on its move to the runway. The incident happened back at Kochi International airport last day. The service of Indigo flight was cancelled.
The flight heading to Hubli cancelled the service. The flight with 61 passengers was forced to cancel its service as Aashiq Noushad an onboard passenger opened the emergency door causing the risk of the door detaching from the aircraft in its flight. Pilot of the flight shifted it immediately took the aircraft back to the parking bay. The service was cancelled to assure the glitch corrected.
Following which the passengers were shifted to other flights. DGCA has ordered for investigation on the incident.
