Idukki : Panchayat authorities who approached the street sellers to evacuate them were back answered. The street sellers demanded officials to take action against the big shots, who are the true invaders before evacuating them, who hardly earn their bread and butter out of the business. They made it clear to the authority that they will not evacuate.
As instructed by the Panchayat Secretary, the other day police officials and the designated employees from the Panchayat reached Ikkanagar of Munnar colony road where, near by there were illegal street seller’s shops.
The shop owners took a strong stand, as the situation roused to conflict the officials and the natives came down to conclusion that, action will be taken only on the basis of discussion and the officials returned.
