Ayyappajyothi will be lighted in 11 States

Kochi: Ayyappa karma samithy has informed that Ayyappa jyothi will spread over 11 more States.  Ayyappa jyothi, meant to protect the customs and rituals of Sabarimala, will mark it’s beginning from Hosangadi in Kasargod District on 26th of this month. Earlier, on the request of the devotees from Tamil Nadu,it had been stretched to Kanyakumari.

The jyothi will be lighted from Hosangadi Sree Dharma Satha temple and the lights will be lined in 795 kilometre. The jyothi is extended through Kaliyikkavila,Marthandam,Thakkala,Parvathipuram,Kanyakumari and upto Thriveni samgamam.

One person with a lamp will be arranged with one metre distance from another. Hundreds of meetings will be conducted in connection with the ‘Ayyappa jyothi prayanam’. Lakhs of devotees will take part in the light parade.
