Thiruvananthapuram: Renowned film director Lenin Rajendran passed away at Appollo Hospital, Chennai. He was 67.He was the Chairman of the Kerala Film Development Corporation.
He breathed his last at 8.45 pm. Lenin Rajendran had undergone liver transplantation surgery recently.
His first directed movie was Venal. Daivathinte Vikruthikal, Mazha, Meenamasathile Sooryan, Kulam, Swathi Thirunal and Chillu are some of his famous movies.
Lenin Rajendran is survived by wife and two children.
