Pathanamthitta: The holy doors of the hill top temple Sabarimala will be opened today for Kumbha masa poojas. Police demanded to impose Section 144 and the Government, like last season is said to be planning to make young women activists enter the temple.
Police had already asked for prohibitory orders, as from tonight until 17th of this month.
Section 144 was imposed in Sabarimala periphery and adjacent areas during Mandala Makara vilakk season. Sannidhanam, Pampa, Niklakkal and Ilavungal were crippled under Section 144 and thousands of devotees faced horrible hours during their darsan.
