New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal became deeply emotional over former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia while inaugurating a new branch of the B R Ambedkar School of Specialised Excellence in Bawana. Kejriwal said that it was Sisodia’s dream to educate school students in Delhi.
“It was Sisodia’s dream; Manish Sisodia had started this aiming to provide quality education to all. They framed false charges against him and jailed him in an unjust manner. He is being targeted because he is actively involved in building schools; otherwise, no action would have been taken against him. I am sure that Manish Sisodia will come out of jail very soon. Truth always wins,” Kejriwal stated.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia was the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. He was arrested by the Excise Department in a Delhi liquor policy case. Sisodia was the Delhi Education Minister until he resigned in March following his arrest.
