Former Student Federation of India (SFI) leader K Vidya, who is accused of submitting a fake experience certificate to secure a job, continues to evade arrest by the police, raising concerns about the progress of the investigation. The case has now entered its 13th day without any significant progress, raising concerns about the effectiveness of the police investigation. There is no trace of Vidya’s whereabouts in the case, which is being investigated by Agali police and Neeleswaram police.
The police justify Vidya’s absence by stating that she is absconding. They have gathered evidence from Maharajas College and Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady. Additionally, the investigating team has conducted searches at Vidya’s residences in Thrikaripur. However, their efforts to apprehend her have been unsuccessful thus far, leading to accusations of protecting Vidya.
However, the police failed to arrest Vidya so far has led to allegations that it is to protect Vidya. It is reported that the investigation team is of the position not to arrest Vidya until the anticipatory bail application is considered. The High Court will consider Vidya’s anticipatory bail plea on Monday.
Agali police officials have emphasized that interrogating Vidya is crucial to identify the origins of the forged certificate. The police informed the HC that granting her bail would affect the investigation.
The police have filed a report against Vidya in the High Court, citing a fake experience certificate submitted for her job at Attappadi Government College. The report is based on statements obtained from the college.
As the investigation into Vidya’s alleged possession of a fake certificate unfolds, concerns about the effectiveness and transparency of the ongoing probe continue to grow.
