Passenger seriously injured as car catches fire in Pandanchira, Investigation underway

Kottayam :  A harrowing incident unfolded in Pandanchira as a car caught fire, leaving a passenger with serious injuries. Sabu (57), a resident of Chotti,Mundakayam, suffered severe injuries when his vehicle suddenly erupted in flames near his home in Vakathanam ,Pandanchira. The incident which brought shock and concern to the local community,  occurred as Sabu was returning home from a trip.

The terrifying ordeal took place when Sabu was in close proximity to his residence. The car suddenly burst into flames with a loud noise, leaving him with serious injuries. Authorities swiftly responded to the emergency, with the fire brigade reaching the scene to combat the blaze and extinguish the fire.

Sabu was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit of the Kottayam Medical College Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for severe burns. Local law enforcement officials have launched an investigation to ascertain the scientific reasons behind the alarming car fire incident.

This incident draws attention to the increasing number of individuals who are falling victim to car fires, often sustaining severe injuries and burns. In a tragic incident last day, Krishna Prakash from Mavelikkara lost his life due to a car explosion. The police reported that the vehicle exploded with a loud noise while it was being parked.
