THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In Kerala, there have been complaints that attacks on Travelling Ticket Examiners (TTE) of the railways are continuously happening. An incident reported today morning in East Coast Express, after crossing Vadakara.
TTE Rishi Saseendranath of the train was attacked by a passenger Bijukumar. He attacked the TTE, while examining the tickets, notably the passenger was travelling without ticket.
The injured TTE is under treatment in hospital. Bijukumar was under custody of railway police. Last day a similar incident reported on the Mangalore-Chennai Express.
TTE Rajitha, a native of Palakkad, was attacked. The TTE was attacked by a passenger between Vadakara and Koyilandy.
