THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swami Sachidananda, the president of the Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust, has criticized the Kerala state secretariat, stating that it remains under the control of the Kerala government in a dictatorial manner.
Swami’s remarks against the state government were delivered during the Great Conference organized in Sivagiri on the occasion of the 169th birth anniversary of Sree Narayana Guru.
Swami Sachidananda’s statement came after Minister P. A. Mohammed Riyas’s inauguration speech. Notably, Swami’s criticism was delivered in the presence of the Minister.
Swami Sachidananda pointed out that despite the alternating rule of the two political fronts, the state has not achieved true social justice.
He noted that the social movement led by Sree Narayana Guru concluded with his life, and Swami lamented the lack of progress made by the Kerala government since that time.
