THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of this year’s Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations, the cultural conference organized by Balagokulam is set to take place on September 1. It has been reported that the environmental activist Dr. Subhash Chandra Bose will inaugurate the program at the Ananthapuram Bank Auditorium in Kaithamukku, Thiruvananthapuram, at 6 pm.
N Harindran, the Chairman of Bala Sahithi, will deliver the keynote address during the event. The conference will feature addresses from Prof. T S Rajan, V Ratheesh, and Shaaju Venugopal.
Actress Menaka Suresh will inaugurate the ‘Gopika dance program’ at Gandhi Park on September 3 at 6 pm. The presiding officer will be M Gopal.
On September 4, activities like Gomata Puja, Tree Puja, and River Salutation will be organized at various centers across the Thiruvananthapuram district. Uriyadi (pot-breaking game) is scheduled for September 5.
The grand procession, set to begin from the Palayam Maha Ganapati temple, will be inaugurated by Dr. B. Govindan on September 6 at 4 pm. Several Balagokulam members are expected to actively participate in these events.
