KASARAGOD: Kerala state witnessed another disturbing incident of stone pelting on a train, as miscreants targeted the Netravati Express between Uppala and Kasaragod last Friday. The incident happened near Kumbala railway station.
During the attack, the window of the S2 (sleeper) coach was broken. This distressing incident occurred around 8:45 PM on Friday. Fortunately, no passengers sustained injuries in the attack. Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Kumbla Police have started investigation into the incident.
Previously, the Rajdhani Express also fell victim to a stone pelting incident in Kanhangad. In response to that incident, several individuals have been apprehended.
