Thiruvananthapuram: Food vlogger Mukesh M. Nair finds himself embroiled in further legal trouble as two more cases have been registered against him, this time for advertising alcohol sales in a Resto bar through social media. The cases were filed by inspectors in Kottarakkara and Thiruvananthapuram, adding to the existing excise case in Kollam.

The initial excise case, filed in Kollam accused Mukesh Nair of promoting alcohol consumption through his online platforms, which is prohibited under Abkari rules. The case highlighted his alleged involvement in promoting a family Resto bar and showcasing alcoholic beverages in violation of existing laws.

Following the Kollam case, the legal saga surrounding Mukesh Nair deepened as inspectors in Kottarakkara and Thiruvananthapuram registered fresh cases against him. These cases revolve around similar allegations of promoting alcohol sales through social media channels.

It’s important to note that the bar licensees themselves have also been implicated in these cases, further complicating the legal proceedings. In the Kollam excise case, bar owner Rajendran has been named as the primary accused.
