THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Suresh Gopi’s son and actor Gokul Suresh participated in the Sri Krishna Jayanti celebrations organized by Balagokulam in Thiruvananthapuram.
Gokul actively joined the event by lighting the lamp in Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. The actor also took part in the Shobha Yatra (procession) alongside children. Dr. Govindhan inaugurated the procession, and dancer Gayathri Subramanian also joined the program.
This year’s Janmashtami celebrations were marked with the message, “Let the drunkenness go away; let the values and childhood awaken.”
In the afternoon, children from different Balagokulams gathered at ten centers in Thiruvananthapuram. The small processions converged in front of the Palayam Ganapati Temple, with thousands of children participating.
Balagokulam State General Secretary KN Sajikumar delivered the Srikrishna Jayanti message for the grand procession.
