THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Greeshma, the accused in the Parassala Sharon murder case, has been transferred from Attakulangara prison, Thiruvananthapuram.
The accused, who was previously held at Attakulangara Women’s Prison, has been relocated to Mavelikara Special Sub Jail. This transfer follows a complaint lodged by fellow inmates, involving two prisoners, including Greeshma.
Greeshma has been in this jail since her arrest in the case. The incident took place on October 14 last year at her residence in Palukal, Tamil Nadu.
The accused allegedly mixed poison into kashayam (an Ayurvedic concoction) that she gave to her boyfriend, Sharon. Subsequently, Sharon experienced physical discomfort and was admitted to the hospital. Despite several days of treatment, Sharon tragically passed away on October 25.
The primary investigation conducted by the Parassala police had reported that it was a natural death. However, Greeshma’s involvement became evident during subsequent investigations. Involvement of the accused’s mother, Sindhu, and uncle, Nirmal Kumar, has also been found in the case.
