Ernakulam: Federal Bank, a leading financial institution in India, has rolled out a user-friendly service for its credit cardholders, allowing them to effortlessly settle their credit card bills through the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS). With this initiative, Federal Bank becomes the third bank in the country to offer this convenient payment option.

The newly introduced service empowers credit cardholders to make bill payments through various accessible modes, including net banking, UPI (Unified Payments Interface), and debit cards. This move is part of Federal Bank’s commitment to enhancing its digital services and making financial transactions more convenient for its customers.

Shalini Warrier, Executive Director of Federal Bank, emphasised that the introduction of this feature is aimed at providing an even more convenient digital experience for users. She also clarified that credit cardholders can now settle their bills seamlessly using Federal Bank’s FeMobile app, FedNet, and other UPI-enabled applications.

To take advantage of this innovative service, customers need to select “Federal Bank Credit Card” as the designated biller within the BBPS application. Once this is done, users can enter the requisite details, including the mobile number registered with their credit card. Upon logging in, customers gain access to vital information related to their credit card bills, such as the outstanding amount, due date, and billing cycle. Moreover, the service offers an autopay facility, allowing cardholders to automate their payments for added convenience.
