Nedumbassery: Foreign cigarettes worth 16 lakh rupees have been seized at Kochi airport. Customs authorities have taken two men under custody for smuggling.
227 cartons of cigarettes was seized from the native of Kasarkod, who reached Kochi via Sri Lankan Airways from Dubai through Colombo. Another person who reached airport to receive the cartons is also under custody.
