Thiruvananthapuram: The offering at Sree Padmanabha temple by C Divakaran reveals the contradictory attitude of the so called atheists who try their best to hurt the emotions and beliefs of devotees on one hand, and conducting offerings at temples to get blessings, on the other.
On 23rd April, annadanam, the sacred tradition of offering food was conducted at Sree Padmanabhaswami temple in the name of C Divakaran, the LDF candidate of Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency.
‘Annadanam’ was booked by his wife Hemalatha, as an offering to God to get blessings for C Divakaran on voting day. His name and nakshatra was displayed in the notice board, as C Divakaran, star Makayiram. A sum of rupees twenty thousand was paid in the temple for annadanam.
