Opportunity to add name to electoral roll ends; final voter list will be released on October 16

Thiruvananthapuram: The window for adding names to the electoral roll for local body elections has officially closed. The final, revised voter list, incorporating applications received until 5 p.m. yesterday, is set to be published on October 16. The list will be published on the website https://www.sec.kerala.gov.in/ .

This opportunity was extended to facilitate adjustments to the electoral roll, including the removal of deceased individuals and those who no longer reside in the area, as well as the inclusion of new applicants. If anyone wishes to submit an application after the deadline, they will only be able to do so once the commission issues a notification confirming the publication of the list.
