Thrissur: The lifeless body of a young man who had gone missing from Mattathur has been recovered from the Kurumali River. The deceased, identified as Ajith (28) from Karingat, Mattathur, was found this morning at around nine o’clock near the Pantallur Chenganthuruthi temple gate.
According to Ajith’s friends, the tragic incident occurred when he accidentally fell into the river near the Attapilli Bridge on Monday evening. Despite an extensive search by the fire department yesterday, they were unable to locate him. oday’s search operation ended in the discovery of his body in the Kurumali River.
