A plus-one student in Valancherry was subjected to a brutal attack by a group of plus-two students. The incident unfolded when Abhinav, a student at Valancherry VHSS, was ragged and subsequently beaten by his senior counterparts.
According to school authorities, a verbal dispute ensued after Abhinav was questioned for not buttoning his shirt, eventually escalating to a violent confrontation. The dispute quickly escalated, leading to a physical assault. Teachers on the scene intervened promptly and managed to separate the students.
As a result of the altercation, Abhinav sustained injuries to his leg and was subsequently admitted to a local hospital for medical treatment. In response to the incident, the Valancherry police have initiated an investigation based on a complaint filed by the student’s parents.
