THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Following the recent Hamas attack, the international fluctuations in gold prices are reflected in the price of gold in Kerala. The upward spiral of gold prices continues in Kerala market, with a notable hike since October 5.
Comparing today’s market prices to Yesterday’s, the price of one sovereign of gold has surged by Rs 280.
Today, the market price for 1 gram of gold stands at Rs 5,400, and 1 sovereign is valued at Rs 43,200 in Kerala.
Similarly, the price of silver is gradually on the rise. As of today, the market price for 1 gram of silver is Rs 76, while hallmarked silver commands a price of Rs 103.
Analysts attribute the recent events, such as the Hamas attacks, as a significant factor contributing to the fluctuations in international gold prices.
