THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A young daily wages named Jafin K is suffering from a rare disease, and he has a dependent wife and two children.
Jafin, a native of Ayiroor, Varkala in the Thiruvananthapuram district, is affected by a rare disease called ‘Crohn’s disease.’ Crohn’s disease is a severe type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), causing inflammation in the digestive tract, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition.

Temporary treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital relies on donations from local residents.
