KOZHIKODE: The accused, who had previously escaped from Koyilandy sub-jail, managed to escape from custody once again. Anas, a native of Thamarassery, had initially escaped from jail. He was later apprehended during a police search operation.
However, the accused managed to escape from custody once more. The police have intensified their efforts to locate and apprehend him.
This morning, he made his escape from the jail’s rear entrance while heading for a bath. After successfully evading the police, the accused fled. Police have released his photograph to the public through the media, urging anyone who locates the accused to report his whereabouts to the nearest police station.
