Thiruvananthapuram: A young man has been apprehended in connection with a recent scooter theft in the Sreekandeshwaram area. The suspect, identified as Girilal (34) residing at Kizhakkekaram Veetil in Ulloor, was taken into custody by the Vanchiyoor police.
The incident occurred on the 22nd of this month when a scooter belonging to Sreenivasan, who resides near the Sreekandeswaram temple, was reported missing. Sreenivasan informed the police about the theft. Utilizing CCTV footage, police identified and arrested the suspect. Girilal was presented in court following his arrest.
