Malappuram: The parents of a boy have registered a complaint against a teacher who subjected a 9th-grade student to severe physical punishment for conversing with a fellow classmate. The incident took place at Ozhukur Crescent Higher Secondary School last afternoon.
According to the student, the teacher beat him after taking photos of the conversation with a female classmate on his mobile phone. As a result of the assault, the injured ninth-grader was admitted to Kondotty Taluk Hospital. The child’s parents have filed a complaint with Child Line against the teacher identified as Zubair.
