KOTTAYAM: John, a native of Nattakam, Kottayam, was arrested for attempt to murdering a toddy shop laborer with a bottle.
The incident took place Yesterday night around 7 pm when John reached the toddy shop and demanded to borrow toddy to drink, but the employee refused to provide it without payment.
A dispute ensued between the employee and John, and in a fit of anger, John hit the shop employee on the head with a toddy bottle.
Following the laborer’s complaint, the police registered a case against John.
