THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sreejith Moothadath’s literary work, ‘Penguinukalude Vankarayil,’ has been honored with the prestigious Ambalakara C Ravindran Master Children’s Literature Award, instituted by Sarovaram Books in memory of Ambalakara C Ravindran Master.
The selection committee, comprising popular poet Kallara Ajayan, poet and teacher Dr. Sangeeth Raveendran, and author Kiranjith U Sharma, chose ‘Penguinukalude Vankarayil’ for this recognition.
The award-winning book is published by the Kerala State Institute of Children’s Literature. In addition to the honor, Sreejith Moothadath will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and a certificate of recognition.
Sreejith Moothadath, a novelist, short story writer, and children’s literary writer, is also a teacher at CNN Girls High School in Cherpu, Thrissur district.
The award presentation ceremony is scheduled for November 5 at the Seva Sangam Hall in Pazhambalakode, where Taror MLA PP Sumod will present the award.
