Thiruvananthapuram: Doctors across the state are once again preparing to go on strike. On November 8, resident doctors in the state will be joining the strike, with PG doctors and house surgeons also participating by boycotting causality department duties. This collective action seeks to address various demands, including an increase in stipends.
This strike follows a previous protest triggered by the tragic incident in which Dr. Vandana Das lost her life while on duty earlier this year. The primary objective of the strike remains the provision of workplace safety for healthcare professionals.
