Thiruvananthapuram: Amidst a severe financial crisis, the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSTRC) has initiated a massive transfer of its workforce. A total of 2,962 employees have been affected by this significant move, as the government seeks to address the challenging economic situation.
Previously, the transfer order had been put on hold due to resistance from various units within the organization. However, the government has now decided to implement the transfers, affecting a wide range of staff. Among those transferred, 1,578 are drivers, 1,348 are conductors, and others belong to the storekeeper section.
