Thiruvananthapuram: In response to escalating issues within the popular nightlife destination of Manaveeyam Veedhi, the police have introduced new regulations to maintain order. As per the latest guidelines, individuals are prohibited from remaining on the street after midnight, and the use of loudspeakers is restricted beyond 10 p.m. These measures have been implemented in light of the disturbances witnessed during the government’s Keraleeyam programme.

In light of the conclusion that the conclusion of the Keraleeyam programme will reduce traffic in Manaveeyam Veedhi, the police have taken steps to ensure that this vibrant area remains conducive to public safety. The decision to curtail the use of loudspeakers after 10 p.m. was made to ensure that one person’s activities do not disrupt others. Additionally, the police have pledged to enhance security measures within Manaveeyam Veedhi, a recommendation put forth by the Assistant Commissioner.
