20 kg cannabis seized from Cherthala Railway Station

Alappuzha: A significant quantity of 20 kg of cannabis was discovered at Cherthala railway station, following a collaborative inspection conducted by Excise Intelligence, Railway Protection Force (RPF), and Cherthala Excise Range officials. Despite ongoing efforts, the individuals responsible for smuggling illicit substances have eluded capture. Ongoing investigations include the examination of CCTV footage, with officials suspecting that the culprits may have offloaded the ganja from the train onto the tracks.
