Wayanad: An Excise team arrested a youth, Arun Antony, who tried to smuggle cannabis on a private bus. The accused is a resident of Vythiri, and was apprehended from a private bus traveling from Karnataka to Mananthavady. He was arrested during an inspection conducted by the Excise team in the Kattikkulam area.
The Excise team found 250 grams of cannabis in Arun Antony’s possession. As a subsequent step, the accused was brought before the Mananthavady Excise Range Office for further proceedings.
