Thrissur: In honour of the Ekadashi day of Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, a holiday has been officially declared in Chavakkad taluk of Thrissur district. This holiday extends to all educational institutions and government offices within the Chavakkad taluk. Guruvayur Ekadashi, a significant celebration, is scheduled for the 23rd of November.
The District Collector has issued an order, emphasising that the holiday is only for government offices and educational institutions on this auspicious occasion. As per the Collector’s directive, the holiday does not extend to previously scheduled public examinations and recruitment exams for central, state, and semi-government institutions.
